2. Safety Precautions

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using the inverter. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the inverter. Do not block ventilation openings.
  • Dry Environment: Do not expose the inverter to rain, moisture, or water. Operate in a dry environment.
  • Overload Protection: Do not exceed the inverter's rated power output (300W). Overloading can damage the inverter and connected devices.
  • Proper Connection: Connect the inverter directly to the vehicle battery using the provided battery clips for loads exceeding 150W. For loads up to 150W, the cigarette lighter adapter can be used.
  • Polarity: Always connect the positive (+) terminal of the inverter to the positive (+) terminal of the battery, and the negative (-) terminal to the negative (-) terminal. Incorrect polarity will cause damage.
  • Children and Pets: Keep the inverter out of reach of children and pets.
  • Flammable Materials: Do not operate the inverter near flammable liquids or gases.

3. Product Features and Components

3.1 Pure Sine Wave Output

This inverter produces a pure sine wave output, which is identical to the waveform of standard household electricity. This ensures compatibility and safe operation for sensitive electronics such as laptops, medical equipment, and audio systems, minimizing distortion and noise.

3.2 Output Ports

  • AC Outlets (x2): Provide 100V AC power for devices up to 300W.
  • USB Ports (x2): Deliver DC5V power, with a combined total output of 4.8A (0-2.4A per port) for charging smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices.

3.3 Protection Functions

The MRZ3010BU is equipped with six intelligent protection circuits to safeguard both the inverter and your connected devices:

  1. Output Overload Protection: Automatically cuts power if the connected load exceeds the inverter's capacity.
  2. Output Short Circuit Protection: Prevents damage in case of a short circuit at the output.
  3. Abnormal Temperature Protection: Shuts down if the internal temperature exceeds safe limits (approx. 65°C).
  4. Input Undervoltage Protection: Protects your vehicle battery from excessive discharge by shutting down if input voltage drops too low.
  5. Input Overvoltage Protection: Safeguards the inverter from damage due to excessively high input voltage.
  6. Input Short Circuit Protection: Protects against short circuits at the input terminals.

3.4 Smart Cooling Fan

The inverter features a smart cooling fan that adjusts its speed based on the load and internal temperature. At low loads, the fan operates quietly or not at all, reducing noise. As the load increases or temperature rises, the fan speeds up to ensure efficient cooling and maintain stable operation.

4. Setup and Installation

The inverter can be connected to your vehicle's power source using either the cigarette lighter adapter or the battery connection clips.

4.1 Using the Cigarette Lighter Adapter (Up to 150W)

  1. Ensure the inverter's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Insert the cigarette lighter adapter into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.
  3. Plug your device(s) into the AC outlets or USB ports on the inverter.
  4. Turn the inverter's power switch to the ON position.

Note: The cigarette lighter adapter is suitable for devices with a total power consumption of up to 150W. Exceeding this limit may blow the vehicle's fuse or damage the adapter.

4.2 Using the Battery Connection Clips (For loads over 150W)

  1. Ensure the inverter's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the red battery clip cable to the positive (+) terminal of the inverter and the red battery clip to the positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's 12V battery.
  3. Connect the black battery clip cable to the negative (-) terminal of the inverter and the black battery clip to the negative (-) terminal of your vehicle's 12V battery.
  4. Plug your device(s) into the AC outlets or USB ports on the inverter.
  5. Turn the inverter's power switch to the ON position.

Important: Always connect the battery clips directly to the vehicle battery for loads exceeding 150W to ensure stable power delivery and prevent damage.
