Feeder System
The four swivel feeder doors allow for easy replenishment of food and water without opening the main cage door, minimizing the risk of escape. The solid metal plates help prevent spillage.
Mobility
The integrated castors allow for convenient repositioning of the cage. Engage the wheel locks when the cage is in its desired location to prevent unintended movement.
6. Maintenance
- Daily Cleaning: Remove and clean the slide-out trays daily to maintain hygiene.
- Weekly Cleaning: Wipe down cage bars and surfaces with a bird-safe cleaner. Clean feeder cups thoroughly.
- Monthly Deep Cleaning: Disassemble accessible parts for a more thorough cleaning. Inspect all connections and components for wear or damage.
- Perch Care: Clean wooden perches regularly. Replace if they become excessively worn or damaged.
7. Troubleshooting
- Difficulty Assembling: Ensure all parts are correctly oriented according to the diagrams. Some components may require gentle force to align. If parts are bent, carefully straighten them before assembly.
- Loose Connections: Periodically check and tighten all screws and bolts to ensure cage stability and prevent parts from rattling.
- Feeder Door Issues: If feeder doors do not close securely, check for obstructions or misalignment. Ensure the stainless steel cups are properly seated.
- Stuck Trays/Grates: If trays or grates are difficult to slide, ensure they are free of debris and properly aligned in their tracks.
