Setup Instructions
1. Install Batteries
For the Keyboard:
Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Insert one (1) AAA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover.
For the Mouse:
Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment cover.
Note: Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.
2. Connect the USB Receiver
Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer (desktop, laptop, or tablet). The system will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This process may take a few moments.
3. Power On
Ensure the keyboard and mouse are switched on (if they have an on/off switch). The devices should connect automatically to the USB receiver.
Operating Instructions
Keyboard Usage
The keyboard features a standard 104-key QWERTY layout. It is compatible with Windows and iOS operating systems. Simply begin typing after successful setup.
Mouse Usage
The mouse features three buttons (left, right, and scroll wheel/middle button) and a 1000 DPI optical sensor for precise tracking. Move the mouse to control the cursor on your screen.
Wireless Connection
The keyboard and mouse operate on a 2.4GHz wireless frequency, providing a stable connection within a typical operating range.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the keyboard and mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with a mild cleaning solution can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the device. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Battery Replacement
When the keyboard or mouse performance degrades (e.g., delayed response, erratic cursor movement), it is likely time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
Troubleshooting
- Devices not responding:
Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace batteries if necessary. Verify the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
- Intermittent connection:
Move the keyboard and mouse closer to the USB receiver. Avoid placing the receiver near large metal objects or other wireless devices that may cause interference.
- Keyboard not typing specific characters (e.g., 'ñ'):
This product features a standard QWERTY layout. Ensure your computer's operating system language and keyboard layout settings match the physical keyboard layout. Adjust settings in your operating system's control panel or system preferences.
- Mouse cursor erratic or not moving:
Check the mouse's optical sensor for obstructions. Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (non-reflective, non-transparent). Replace batteries.
