5.1 Battery Care
For optimal battery longevity, ensure the mouse is fully charged before initial use. Avoid consistently draining the battery completely or leaving it uncharged for extended periods.
6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning of the mouse and charging dock contacts is recommended to ensure consistent performance. Use a soft, dry cloth for general cleaning. For charging contacts, a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol can be used to remove any buildup.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Charging Issues
If the mouse experiences intermittent charging on the dock, inspect the charging contacts on both the mouse and the dock for any debris or residue. Clean them gently as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure the dock's USB cable is securely connected to your computer.
7.2 Connectivity Problems
If the mouse loses connection or experiences lag, ensure the USB wireless dongle is securely plugged into the charging dock or directly into your computer. Try moving the dongle closer to the mouse or to a different USB port. Interference from other wireless devices can sometimes affect performance.
