1. Setup
This section guides you through the initial setup of your Fujifilm X-A7 camera, including battery and memory card installation, and lens attachment.
1.1. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the supplied NP-W126S battery using the included USB cable and AC power adapter. Connect the camera to the adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when complete.
1.2. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card
- Open the battery/memory card compartment cover located on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the NP-W126S battery with the arrow facing into the camera and push until it clicks into place.
- Insert an SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory card into the card slot with the label facing the rear of the camera until it clicks. Ensure the card is correctly oriented.
- Close the compartment cover securely.

1.3. Attaching the Lens
- Remove the body cap from the camera and the rear cap from the lens.
- Align the white mounting mark on the lens with the white mounting mark on the camera body.
- Mount the lens onto the camera body and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place.

1.4. Initial Settings
Upon turning on the camera for the first time, you will be prompted to set the date, time, and time zone. Follow the on-screen instructions using the touchscreen or control dials.

2.5. Video Recording
To record video, rotate the mode dial to the movie camera icon or press the dedicated video record button (if available). The X-A7 supports 4K video recording up to 30fps and Full HD up to 60fps.
2.6. Image Playback
Press the PLAY button to enter playback mode. Use the directional pad or swipe gestures on the touchscreen to browse images. Pinch-to-zoom is available for closer inspection.

3.1. Cleaning the Camera and Lens
