Product Overview and Components
The AMEYXGS Recurve Bow Sight TR1001 is a durable plastic sight designed for precision aiming in both hunting and target archery. Setup and Installation
1. Attaching the Sight Body to the Bow
- Identify the mounting holes on your recurve bow's riser.
- Align the sight's vertical bar with these holes.
- Insert the provided mounting screws through the sight body and into the riser. Secure with nuts if necessary, tightening them firmly but without over-tightening to avoid damage.

2. Reversible Design for Right/Left Hand
The sight is designed to be reversible. To switch between right-handed and left-handed use, simply detach the horizontal bar from the vertical bar, flip it, and reattach it. Ensure the sight pin assembly is positioned correctly for your dominant eye.

Operating the Sight
1. Windage Adjustment (Horizontal)
The horizontal position of the sight pin can be adjusted using the knob on the side of the horizontal bar. Turning the knob will move the sight pin left or right. Adjust this to compensate for horizontal arrow deviation.

2. Elevation Adjustment (Vertical)
The vertical position of the sight pin is adjusted by loosening the locking screw on the sight pin assembly and sliding the pin up or down along the vertical track. For micro-adjustments, use the fine-tuning knob on the sight pin assembly. Adjust this to compensate for vertical arrow deviation at different distances.

3. Zeroing the Sight
To zero your sight, begin by shooting at a close distance (e.g., 10-20 yards). Adjust the sight pin until your arrows consistently hit the center of the target. Once zeroed at a close distance, you can then make further adjustments for longer distances, noting the settings for each range.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the sight clean with a soft, damp cloth after each use to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the plastic finish or the sight pin.
Storage
Store the sight in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If removing the sight from the bow for storage, ensure all components are kept together to prevent loss.
Inspection
Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Inspect the plastic components for any signs of cracks or damage that could affect performance or safety.
Troubleshooting
- Sight Pin Movement: If the sight pin moves unintentionally, ensure all locking screws for both windage and elevation adjustments are securely tightened.
- Inaccurate Aiming: Verify that the sight is securely mounted to the bow and that no components are loose. Re-zero the sight at a known distance. Check for consistent shooting form.
- Difficulty Adjusting: If adjustment knobs are stiff, ensure they are clean and free of debris. Do not force adjustments; inspect for any obstructions.
