Image Description: A detailed front view of the Citizen CB5034-82L watch. The watch features a robust silver-tone stainless steel case and bracelet. The dial is a striking blue with luminous hour markers and hands, ensuring readability. Three sub-dials are visible: a 24-hour indicator at 9 o'clock, a function mode indicator (M, T, W, F, S) at 3 o'clock, and a mode selector (SET, TME, ALM, CHR) at 6 o'clock. The date window is positioned at 4 o'clock. The black bezel is marked with a tachymeter scale and city codes for world time functionality. The crown and pushers are visible on the right side of the case. The "Eco-Drive" and "Radio Controlled" logos are clearly visible on the dial.
Setup
1. Initial Charging
As an Eco-Drive watch, your CB5034-82L is powered by light. Before initial use, or if the watch has stopped, ensure it is fully charged.
- Place the watch in direct sunlight or under strong artificial light.
- For a full charge from a completely discharged state, expose the watch to direct sunlight for approximately 11 hours, or under a fluorescent lamp (30W, 20cm away) for about 50 hours.
- The second hand will move in 2-second intervals when the power reserve is low. Continue charging until the second hand moves normally (1-second intervals).
2. Time Signal Reception (Radio Control)
Your watch automatically attempts to receive the time signal daily. For manual reception or to check reception status:
- Pull the crown out to position 1.
- Press the upper right button (A) to initiate manual reception. The second hand will point to "RX" (reception in progress).
- Place the watch near a window, away from electronic devices, with the 9 o'clock side facing the signal source.
- Reception typically takes 2-10 minutes. Once complete, the second hand will point to "OK" (successful) or "NO" (unsuccessful).
- Push the crown back in to position 0.
Note: Ensure your home city is correctly set for accurate time signal synchronization. Refer to the "Operating - World Time Function" section for setting your home city.

Maintenance
1. Charging Guidelines
- To maintain optimal performance, expose your watch to light regularly.
- Avoid prolonged storage in dark places, which can deplete the power reserve.
- Do not place the watch too close to incandescent lamps or other heat sources, as this may cause damage.
2. Water Resistance Precautions
Your watch is water resistant up to 20 BAR (200 meters). This makes it suitable for swimming, showering, and snorkeling.
- Ensure the crown is pushed in completely before exposing the watch to water.
- Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch thoroughly with fresh water and dry it with a soft cloth.
3. Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dirt and moisture. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying.
