  • SET Button: Used to enter setting modes (Time, Date, Alarm).

Power Supply

The ThreeH Digital Wooden Alarm Clock can be powered by either USB or AAA batteries.

USB Power

  1. Connect the small end of the USB power cable to the USB port on the back of the clock.
  2. Connect the larger end of the USB power cable to a USB wall adapter (not included) or a powered USB port (e.g., computer, power bank).

Battery Power (4 x AAA)

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
  2. Insert 4 new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: For continuous display, USB power is recommended. Battery power is primarily for portability and may activate sound control mode to conserve energy.

Memory Battery (CR2032)

A CR2032 button cell battery (not included) can be inserted into its dedicated slot on the back to maintain time settings during power interruptions. This battery does not power the display.

Initial Setup

Setting Time and Date

  1. Press the SET button once to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press SET again to move to minute setting. Adjust with UP or DOWN.
  4. Press SET to cycle through year, month, and day settings, adjusting each with UP or DOWN.
  5. After setting the day, press SET to exit time/date setting.

12/24 Hour Format

While in time setting mode (hour flashing), press the UP button to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats. In 12-hour format, 'PM' will appear for afternoon hours.

Temperature Unit (Celsius/Fahrenheit)

In normal display mode, press the DOWN button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.

Operating Modes

The clock has different display modes and functionalities.

Display Modes

In normal display mode, the clock cycles through time, date, and temperature. To change the display sequence or fix it to one display:

  1. Press the SET button repeatedly in normal display mode to cycle through display options:
    • dP-1: Time, Date, Temperature display in sequence.
    • dP-2: Time display only.

Sound Control Mode

This mode conserves power by turning off the display when silent. The display will activate for approximately 10 seconds when a sound louder than 60dB is detected (e.g., clapping, tapping the clock).

  1. In normal display mode, press the DOWN button to toggle sound control:
    • ON:Sd: Sound control is active.
    • --:Sd: Sound control is inactive (display remains on).

Alarm Settings

The clock supports up to three independent alarms (A1, A2, A3).

Setting an Alarm

  1. Press the SET button three times (or until 'A1' appears) to enter alarm setting mode. The alarm number (A1, A2, or A3) will flash.
  2. Use UP or DOWN to select the alarm you wish to set (A1, A2, A3).
  3. Press SET. The hour digits for the selected alarm will flash.
  4. Use UP or DOWN to adjust the alarm hour.
  5. Press SET. The minute digits will flash.
  6. Use UP or DOWN to adjust the alarm minute.
  7. Press SET to confirm the alarm time. The display will show 'ON' or '--'.
  8. Use UP or DOWN to toggle the alarm ON or OFF.
  9. Press SET to save and exit alarm setting for that specific alarm.

Stopping an Alarm

When an alarm sounds, press any button (SET, UP, or DOWN) to silence it. The alarm will sound again at the set time the next day unless deactivated.

Brightness Adjustment

The clock features adjustable display brightness levels.

  1. In normal display mode, press and hold the UP button for approximately 3 seconds. The display will show 'L1', 'L2', or 'L3'.
  2. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to cycle through the brightness levels:
    • L1: Lowest brightness
    • L2: Medium brightness
    • L3: Highest brightness
  3. Release the UP button to confirm your selection.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Wipe the clock surface with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the finish or electronic components.

Storage

  • If storing the clock for an extended period, remove all AAA batteries to prevent leakage.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
