6. Maintenance
- Clean the switch surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodically check for firmware updates within the Smart Life app to ensure optimal performance and security.
- If the switch is not in use for an extended period, it is recommended to turn off power at the circuit breaker for safety.
7. Troubleshooting
- Switch not responding: Check if the circuit breaker is on. Ensure the switch is properly wired and receiving power. Try turning the breaker off and on again.
- Wi-Fi indicator not blinking/pairing issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Move closer to your Wi-Fi router. Try resetting the switch by holding down one of the touch buttons for 5-10 seconds until the indicator blinks rapidly.
- Cannot connect to Alexa/Google Assistant: Ensure your Smart Life account is correctly linked in the Alexa/Google Home app. Try re-discovering devices.
- Switch loses connection frequently: Check your Wi-Fi signal strength at the switch location. Consider a Wi-Fi extender if the signal is weak. Ensure your router firmware is up to date.
- Lights flicker or don't turn on: Verify the load (light bulb/appliance) is compatible and within the switch's wattage limits (Max 1200W). Check wiring connections.
