7. Troubleshooting
- Device not charging: Ensure the charger is properly plugged into a live wall outlet. Verify that the charging cable is securely connected to both the charger and your device. Try using a different cable or port to rule out cable or port issues. Check device compatibility (refer to section 4.4).
- Slow charging speed: Ensure you are using a Power Delivery (PD) compatible cable for fast charging with USB-C devices. Some devices, like certain Samsung Galaxy models, may charge slower than with their original chargers. When multiple devices are connected, the power is allocated, which might result in slightly slower charging for individual devices compared to single-device charging.
- Charger feels warm: It is normal for the charger to generate some heat during operation, especially under heavy load. The USB ports have an automatic detection function; if cables are connected but not actively charging, the charger may remain in standby and emit low heat. Disconnect all cables when not in use to prevent this.
- Incompatibility issues: Refer to the detailed compatibility list in section 4.4. Note specific incompatibilities such as Samsung Notebook 9 and Apple Magic Keyboard.
