3. Package Contents

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Camera

  1. Connect the provided USB cable to the Mini USB port on the camera.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (DV 5V) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Charging typically takes about 2 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off (refer to specific light behavior in the next section).

4.2 Inserting a TF (Micro SD) Card

A TF card (not included) is required for recording video. The camera supports cards up to 32GB.

  1. Locate the pop-out TF card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Gently insert the TF card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it pops out.

4.3 Attaching the Head Mount

  1. Align the camera unit with the mounting bracket on the head strap.
  2. Slide the camera into the bracket until it securely locks into place.
  3. Adjust the elastic strap to fit comfortably and securely around your head.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually the main function button) for a few seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Video Recording

  • Ensure a formatted TF card is inserted.
  • With the camera powered on, press the Video Record button once to start recording. The indicator light will typically flash to indicate recording is in progress.
  • Press the Video Record button again to stop recording. The indicator light will return to a steady state.
  • The camera supports 3-minute loop recording. Older files will be overwritten automatically when the card is full.

5.3 Using the LED Headlight

  • With the camera powered on, press the LED Light button once to turn on the headlight.
  • Press the LED Light button again to cycle through different light modes (if available) or to turn off the headlight.

5.4 SOS Function

  • To activate the SOS function, press and hold the SOS button (if dedicated) or a combination of buttons as specified in the quick start guide. The LED light will flash in an SOS pattern.
  • Press the button again to deactivate the SOS function.

5.5 Connecting to a Computer

  • Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable.
  • The camera should appear as a removable disk drive. You can then access and transfer your video files.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the TF card if storing for extended periods.
