Setup and Initial Use
1. Initial Charging (Eco-Drive)
Before initial use, ensure your watch is fully charged. Expose the watch dial to a bright light source, such as direct sunlight or fluorescent light, for several hours. The power reserve indicator will show the current charge level. A full charge can last for months in the dark.
- Sunlight: Approximately 11 hours for a full charge from a completely depleted state.
- Fluorescent Light (30W, 20cm): Approximately 40 hours for a full charge from a completely depleted state.
2. Time Synchronization (Atomic Clock)
The Promaster Navihawk A-T is radio-controlled and automatically synchronizes with atomic clocks to maintain superior accuracy. This synchronization typically occurs overnight. For manual synchronization or to check reception status:
- Ensure the watch is in an area with good signal reception, away from electronic interference.
- Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for specific button operations to initiate manual reception or check the last successful reception time.

Operating Instructions
1. Basic Timekeeping and Date
The watch displays hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. Due to the perpetual calendar feature, the date automatically adjusts for month length and leap years.

The 1-second chronograph measures up to 60 minutes. To operate:
- Press the upper pusher to start the chronograph.
- Press the upper pusher again to stop it.
- Press the lower pusher to reset the chronograph hands to zero.
3. Alarm Function
The watch includes an alarm function. To set and activate the alarm:
- Enter alarm setting mode (refer to the full manual for button sequence).
- Use the pushers to set the desired alarm time.
- Activate or deactivate the alarm as needed.
4. Power Reserve Indicator
A dedicated sub-dial or hand indicates the current power reserve level, allowing you to monitor the watch's charge status and ensure it receives adequate light exposure.
5. Rotating Compass Bezel
The outer rotating bezel can be used as a compass. To use:
- Point the hour hand towards the sun.
- Rotate the bezel so that the "S" (South) mark is halfway between the hour hand and the 12 o'clock position on the dial (for Northern Hemisphere).
- The other cardinal points (N, E, W) on the bezel will then indicate their respective directions.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and sapphire crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, use a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
2. Charging Habits
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Eco-Drive watch, expose it to light regularly. Avoid storing it in dark places for extended periods. If the watch stops, expose it to bright light to restart and recharge it.
3. Water Resistance
While the Promaster Navihawk A-T is designed for durability, always check the water resistance rating indicated on the watch or in the full manual before exposing it to water. Ensure the crown is pushed in completely before any contact with water.
