Introduction
The Citizen Smart Clock CC5012 is an Echo-compatible wall clock designed to display the time of day and visualize timers set through a paired Echo device. It features an easy-to-read analog clock face complemented by a digital 60 LED display for timer countdowns. The clock automatically syncs time with a paired Echo device, including adjustments for daylight saving time.
Important Note: The Citizen Smart Clock must be paired with and remain within 30 feet of a compatible Echo device to utilize its timer features. Without an Echo device connection, it functions solely as a regular wall clock. Compatible Echo devices include Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Plus, Echo Show, Echo Spot, and Echo Input. It is not compatible with Fire TV Cube, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Echo Dot Kids Edition, or Tap.

Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The clock uses 4 C batteries. Replace them when the clock hands stop moving or the LED indicators become dim or unresponsive. Ensure the switch in the battery compartment is set to "AUTO" after replacing batteries.
- Cleaning: To clean the clock, gently wipe the surface and glass lens with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, which may damage the finish or the protective glass lens.
- Protective Glass Lens: The clock features a protective glass lens designed to keep the clock hands safe and prevent dust accumulation. Handle with care to avoid scratches or breakage.
Troubleshooting
- Clock Not Syncing/Losing Connection: If the clock loses connection or fails to sync with your Echo device, try power cycling your Echo device first. If the issue persists, re-initiate the pairing process as described in the "Setup" section.
- Timers Not Displaying: Ensure the clock is properly paired with a compatible Echo device and is within the 30-foot range. Verify that your Echo device has the latest software updates.
- Incorrect Time Display: The clock automatically syncs with your Echo device. If the time is incorrect, check the Echo device's time settings and ensure a stable connection. Re-pairing may resolve the issue.
- LEDs Not Working: Check the battery level. Low batteries can affect LED functionality. Replace batteries if necessary.
- Compatibility: Confirm that your Echo device is listed as compatible (Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Plus, Echo Show, Echo Spot, Echo Input). Incompatible devices will not support the smart features.
