Setup

1. Powering On

Press and hold the Side button on the right side of the device until the Apple logo appears. If the device does not power on, ensure it is charged using the provided charging cable and adapter.

2. SIM Card Installation

This iPhone XR is locked to Verizon. To install a SIM card:

  1. Locate the SIM tray on the right side of the device.
  2. Insert a SIM ejector tool (not included) or a small paperclip into the hole on the SIM tray.
  3. Gently push until the tray ejects.
  4. Place your Verizon Nano-SIM card into the tray with the gold contacts facing down.
  5. Carefully reinsert the tray into the device.

3. Initial Setup

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup process. This includes selecting your language and region, connecting to Wi-Fi, setting up Face ID, and creating a passcode. You will also have the option to restore data from a backup or set up as a new iPhone.

4. Face ID Setup
