5. Setup and Charging
5.1. Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge the PowerUp 700 unit. Connect the provided 12V charge adapter cord to the unit and a suitable power source. The 4 LED indicator lights will illuminate to show the charging progress. A full charge is indicated when all 4 lights are solid.
5.2. Checking Battery Level
Press the power button on the unit to check the current battery level. The 4 LED indicator lights represent the charge status:

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Jump Starting a Vehicle
- Ensure the PowerUp 700 is sufficiently charged.
- Connect the red (positive) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Connect the black (negative) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Plug the jumper cable connector into the 12V output port on the PowerUp 700.
- Start the vehicle. If the battery is deeply discharged, press the Boost button on the unit to override low voltage protection.
- Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the jumper cable connector from the PowerUp 700 first, then remove the black (negative) clamp, followed by the red (positive) clamp from the vehicle battery.

6.2. Charging Mobile Devices
The PowerUp 700 features dual 5-Volt USB ports (2.1A and 1.1A) for charging smartphones, tablets, and other USB-powered devices. Simply connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the ports on the jump starter.
