Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective and safe polishing:

  1. Prepare Surface: Ensure the surface to be polished is clean, dry, and free of contaminants.
  2. Apply Compound: Apply a small amount of polishing compound directly onto the polishing disc or the surface area to be worked on.
  3. Set Speed: Use the speed dial (typically located on the top or side of the tool) to select the desired speed. Start with a lower speed to spread the compound, then increase as needed. The polisher offers speeds up to 4800 RPM.
  4. Soft Start Feature: The integrated soft start ensures the machine begins slowly, preventing polishing compounds from splattering and reducing waste.
  5. Begin Polishing: Place the polishing disc flat on the surface before turning the tool on. Turn on the polisher and move it in a controlled, overlapping pattern. Maintain light, even pressure.
  6. Constant Speed Electronics: The constant speed electronics maintain consistent power during demanding tasks, ensuring uniform results.
  7. 21mm Orbit: The 21mm orbit minimizes heat buildup, reducing the risk of burning the lacquer, even during extended use.
  8. Monitor Results: Continuously check the surface for desired results. Wipe off excess compound with a clean microfiber cloth.
  9. Finish: Once polishing is complete, turn off the polisher, lift it from the surface, and unplug it from the power source.

  • Pad Care: Clean polishing pads thoroughly after each use. Depending on the pad type, they can often be washed with mild soap and water, then air-dried.
  • Cord Inspection: Regularly inspect the 4-meter power cord for any signs of damage, cuts, or fraying. If damaged, have it replaced by a qualified technician.
