1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Always ensure your child is securely fastened in the 5-point harness. Never leave your child unattended in the stroller. Do not overload the storage basket or hang bags from the handles, as this may cause the stroller to become unstable.

• Always engage the brakes when parking the stroller.
• Ensure the stroller is fully open and locked before placing a child in it.
• Keep children clear of moving parts during folding and unfolding.

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to set up your Chicco Liteway Stroller:

1. Unfolding the Stroller: Release the automatic storage latch. Push down on the rear lever until the stroller fully expands and locks into place.
2. Attaching the Cup Holder: Securely attach the cup holder to the designated slot on the handle.
3. Adjusting the Canopy: Position the canopy as desired for sun protection. It can be adjusted or removed.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Folding the Stroller

To fold the stroller for compact storage:

1. Ensure the canopy is fully retracted.
2. Lift the lever located on the back of the stroller handles.
3. Simultaneously push down on the side lever. The stroller will collapse into a compact form.
4. Engage the automatic storage latch to keep it securely folded.

5.2 Adjusting the Backrest

The backrest offers four positions for your child's comfort:

• Locate the recline mechanism at the back of the seat.
• Press the button or squeeze the lever (depending on model variation) and adjust the backrest to the desired position (upright, semi-recline, full recline).

5.3 Adjusting the Leg Rest

The leg rest is adjustable to provide calf support as your child grows:

• Locate the adjustment buttons or levers on either side of the leg rest.
• Press and hold the buttons/levers, then move the leg rest up or down to the desired height. Release to lock.

5.4 Using the Canopy

The adjustable and removable canopy provides shade and features a peek-a-boo window:

• Extend or retract the canopy by pushing or pulling it.
• Use the peek-a-boo window to check on your child without disturbing them.
• To remove, unclip the canopy from the frame.

5.5 Using the 5-Point Harness

Always secure your child with the 5-point harness:

1. Place your child in the seat.
2. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their hips.
3. Insert the buckle tongues into the buckle housing until they click securely.
4. Adjust the straps for a snug fit, ensuring your child is comfortable but secure.

5.6 Braking System

The stroller features toe-tap rear brakes for secure parking:

• To engage the brakes, press down firmly on the brake levers located near the rear wheels with your foot.
• To release, lift the levers upwards.

5.7 Storage Features

The Liteway Stroller includes convenient storage options:

• Storage Basket: A spacious basket located under the seat for essentials like diaper bags or small groceries.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your stroller:

• Cleaning Fabric: The fabric components are Hand Wash Only. Use mild soap and cold water. Do not bleach. Air dry.
• Cleaning Frame: Wipe the frame with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
• Wheel Maintenance: Regularly check wheels for debris and ensure they spin freely. Lubricate axles if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common solutions:

• Stroller not unfolding/folding smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism. Ensure all levers are fully engaged or disengaged.
• Wheels not swiveling: Clean any dirt or debris from around the wheel axles.
• Brakes not engaging: Ensure the brake levers are fully pressed down. Check for any obstructions.
