Setup and Installation
1. Download the FOBO Bike 2 App
The FOBO Bike 2 system requires the dedicated FOBO Bike 2 application for operation. Download the app from your device's respective app store:
- For Android devices: Search "FOBO Bike 2" on the Google Play Store.
- For iOS devices: Search "FOBO Bike 2" on the Apple App Store.
Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and grant the app necessary permissions for location and notifications.
2. Register and Pair Sensors
- Open the FOBO Bike 2 app and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log in.
- Select "Add New FOBO Bike 2" within the app.
- The app will guide you through the pairing process. Ensure the sensors are within Bluetooth range of your smartphone.
- Once paired, assign each sensor to the correct tire (front or rear) as prompted by the app.
3. Install Sensors on Tires
Follow these steps to securely install the FOBO Bike 2 sensors on your motorcycle or bicycle tires:
- Remove the existing valve cap from your tire valve stem.
- Thread an anti-theft lock nut onto the valve stem, with the threaded side facing outwards. Do not tighten it yet.
- Screw the FOBO Bike 2 sensor onto the valve stem until it is hand-tight. The sensor will automatically activate and begin transmitting data.
- Using the provided wrench, tighten the anti-theft lock nut against the sensor to secure it in place. This helps prevent theft and ensures a snug fit.
- Repeat the process for the other tire.

Important: Ensure the sensors are tightened sufficiently to prevent air leakage but do not overtighten, as this may damage the valve stem or sensor.
Operating Instructions
Real-time Monitoring
Once installed and paired, the FOBO Bike 2 app will display real-time tire pressure and temperature for both tires. The data updates automatically when your smartphone is within Bluetooth range of the sensors.
- Pressure Readings: Displays current tire pressure in your preferred unit (e.g., PSI, kPa, Bar).
- Temperature Readings: Shows the internal temperature of the tire.
- Battery Status: Indicates the battery level of each sensor.
Alerts and Notifications
The FOBO Bike 2 system is designed to provide timely alerts for critical tire conditions:
- Low Pressure Alert: Notifies you if tire pressure drops below your preset threshold.
- High Pressure Alert: Warns if tire pressure exceeds your preset threshold.
- High Temperature Alert: Informs you if tire temperature becomes excessively high.
- Fast Leak Alert: Detects rapid air loss from a tire.
- Sensor Battery Low Alert: Indicates when a sensor battery needs replacement.
You can customize alert thresholds within the FOBO Bike 2 app settings to match your vehicle's recommended tire pressures.
Sharing with Others
The FOBO Bike 2 system allows you to share access to your tire data with up to 100 other users. This feature is useful for group rides or if multiple individuals use the same vehicle. Sharing can be managed through the app's settings.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement
Each FOBO Bike 2 sensor is powered by a CR1632 Lithium Metal battery. The app will notify you when a sensor's battery is low. To replace a battery:
- Unscrew the sensor from the valve stem and remove the anti-theft lock nut.
- Carefully twist open the sensor casing.
- Remove the old CR1632 battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity (+ side up).
- Close the sensor casing securely.
- Reinstall the sensor and lock nut onto the valve stem as described in the "Setup and Installation" section.
Note: Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
Cleaning and Care
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your FOBO Bike 2 sensors:
- Wipe sensors with a damp cloth to remove dirt and grime. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the sensor caps are always securely fastened to prevent water ingress.
- Store the sensors in a cool, dry place if removed from the vehicle for an extended period.
