5. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your GoHawk AN4 Gen.3 system.

5.1 Mounting the Speakers

  1. Select a suitable location on your handlebar (1 to 1.25 inches in diameter) that does not obstruct your view or vehicle controls.
  2. Attach the mounting clamps to the speakers and then to the handlebar. Ensure the clamps are securely tightened.
  3. Adjust the speaker angle for optimal sound projection. The speakers feature a swivel mount for flexible positioning.

5.2 Wiring Connections

  1. Connect the Master Speaker to the Slave Speaker.
  2. Connect the wired control to its designated port.
  3. Connect the SAE power cord to the system.
  4. Connect the SAE power cord to your vehicle's 12V power source. It is highly recommended to connect to a switched power source (e.g., ignition-controlled) to prevent battery drain. An SAE to Ring Terminal battery cable is included for direct battery connection, but use with caution regarding battery drain.
  5. If using AUX or USB, connect the respective cables.
