7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Pairing the Aircraft and Remote

  1. Ensure the aircraft battery is connected and the aircraft is placed on a flat surface.
  2. Turn on the remote controller.
  3. The remote and aircraft will automatically pair. Wait for the indicator lights to stabilize, indicating a successful connection.

7.2 Take-Off

The FX822 supports two take-off modes:

  • Ground Take-Off: Place the aircraft on a smooth, flat surface with the landing gear attached. Slowly increase the throttle, and the aircraft will gain speed and lift off.
  • Hand Launch: Hold the aircraft firmly and gently throw it forward into the wind while simultaneously increasing the throttle.

7.3 Flight Controls

  • Throttle (Left Stick): Push up to increase speed/altitude, pull down to decrease speed/altitude.
  • Direction (Right Stick): Move left/right to turn the aircraft.
  • The 2-channel design allows for basic flight maneuvers including ascending, descending, turning left, turning right, and performing spirals.

7.4 Landing

To land the aircraft, slowly reduce the throttle while maintaining directional control. Guide the aircraft to a clear, open area. If using landing gear, aim for a smooth, level surface. If hand-launching, gently bring the aircraft down to a soft landing spot.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the aircraft gently with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and debris.
  • Propellers: Regularly check propellers for damage. Replace any bent or broken propellers with spare ones from the set to ensure optimal flight performance.
  • Battery Care: Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery. Disconnect the battery from the aircraft and charger when not in use.
  • Storage: Store the aircraft and remote control in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures.

9. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Aircraft does not respond to remote. Not paired; low battery in remote or aircraft; out of range. Re-pair the aircraft and remote; charge batteries; ensure within 100m range.
Aircraft flies erratically or won't take off. Damaged propeller; motor issue; strong wind. Check and replace propellers; avoid flying in strong winds.
Short flight time. Battery not fully charged; aging battery. Ensure battery is fully charged; consider replacing battery if old.
