Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or recycling.
  2. Clean Before First Use: Wash all detachable parts (mincer head, feeding tray, food pusher, feeding screw, cutting blade, grinding plates, locking ring) in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Do not wash the motor unit.
  3. Assemble Mincer Head:
    • Insert the feeding screw into the mincer head.
    • Place the cutting blade onto the square shaft of the feeding screw, ensuring the sharp edges face outwards towards the grinding plate.
    • Select the desired grinding plate (fine, medium, or coarse) and place it over the cutting blade, aligning the notch with the tab on the mincer head.
    • Screw the locking ring onto the mincer head until it is securely tightened.
  4. Attach Mincer Head to Motor Unit: Insert the assembled mincer head into the opening on the front of the motor unit. Rotate it counter-clockwise until it locks securely into place.
  5. Place Feeding Tray: Position the feeding tray onto the top of the mincer head.
  6. Position Appliance: Place the assembled meat mincer on a stable, flat, and dry surface, away from the edge of the countertop.
  7. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Meat: Cut meat into small pieces (approximately 2-3 cm cubes) that will easily fit into the feeding tube. Remove any bones, gristle, or tough tendons.
  2. Start Mincing: Turn the appliance on using the power switch or dial.
  3. Feed Meat: Place the prepared meat into the feeding tray. Use the food pusher to gently guide the meat down the feeding tube. Never use your fingers or other utensils to push meat into the mincer.
  4. Continuous Operation: Do not operate the mincer continuously for more than 10 minutes. Allow the appliance to cool down for at least 10 minutes before resuming operation.
  5. Reverse Function (if applicable): If the mincer becomes blocked, switch the appliance off, then select the reverse function (if available) to clear the blockage. After clearing, switch off again before resuming normal operation.
  6. Finish Mincing: Once all meat has been minced, turn off the appliance and unplug it from the power outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your meat mincer.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Remove the feeding tray, then unlock and detach the mincer head from the motor unit. Disassemble the mincer head by unscrewing the locking ring and removing the grinding plate, cutting blade, and feeding screw.
  3. Clean Detachable Parts: Wash all detachable parts (feeding tray, mincer head, feeding screw, cutting blade, grinding plates, locking ring, food pusher) immediately after use in warm soapy water. Use a brush to remove any meat residue from the grinding plates and blade. Rinse thoroughly under running water.
  4. Dry Completely: Dry all metal parts immediately and thoroughly to prevent rust. A small amount of cooking oil can be applied to the cutting blade and grinding plates before storage to further protect against rust.
  5. Clean Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water or place it under running water.
  6. Storage: Store the clean and dry appliance and its accessories in a safe, dry place.
