Setup and Installation
The KES pot rack is designed for easy installation with 16-inch stud mounting. It is suitable for both drywall and solid walls. Two installation options are available:
Installation Options

Step-by-Step Installation
- Identify Mounting Location: Choose a wall location where the pot rack can be securely mounted to two wall studs that are 16 inches apart. Use a stud finder to locate the center of the studs.
- Mark Drill Holes: Hold the pot rack against the wall at the desired height and mark the positions for the mounting holes. The mounting holes are designed to extend downward, providing ample space for drilling without obstruction from the wire rack.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. For drywall, ensure the pilot holes are appropriate for the included dual-use anchors. For solid walls, drill directly into the wall studs.
- Insert Anchors (if applicable): If mounting to drywall without hitting a stud, insert the dual-use anchors into the pilot holes.
- Mount the Rack: Align the pot rack with the drilled holes and secure it to the wall using the provided heavy-duty stainless steel screws. Ensure all screws are tightened firmly for maximum stability.
- Attach Hooks: Place the 12 S-shaped movable hooks onto the lower bar of the pot rack. These hooks are easily detachable and can be repositioned as needed.

Operating Instructions
- Shelf Usage: Place pots, pans, lids, and other kitchen necessities on the two sturdy grid shelves. Ensure weight is distributed evenly and does not exceed 50 lbs per shelf.
- Hook Usage: Utilize the 12 S-shaped hooks to hang frequently used utensils, smaller pots, or pans. The hooks are designed to be easily moved along the lower bar for flexible organization.
- Space Optimization: Arrange items to maximize space and accessibility. The open design allows for quick identification and retrieval of cookware.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the pot rack with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a mild soap solution can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these may damage the matte black finish.
- Inspection: Periodically check all mounting screws to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability.
- Rust Prevention: The rack features a powder-coated finish for rust resistance. To maintain this, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture.
Troubleshooting
- Rack feels loose: Ensure all mounting screws are fully tightened into the wall studs or anchors. If using drywall anchors, verify they are correctly installed and not stripped. Consider relocating if the current mounting points are compromised.
- Hooks slide too easily: The S-shaped hooks are designed to be movable. If you prefer less movement, you can gently crimp the top curve of the hook slightly with pliers to create a tighter fit on the bar.
- Items falling off shelves: Ensure items are placed securely on the shelves and do not extend beyond the edges. Avoid placing unstable items where they could easily tip over.
