4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is straightforward and typically takes about 30 minutes. Follow the steps below.

4.1. Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the five-star base. Ensure they are firmly seated.
Install Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the five-star base. Cover it with the telescopic plastic cover.
Attach Mechanism to Seat: Align the mechanism with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws using the provided Allen wrench.
Attach Footrest: Secure the retractable footrest assembly to the underside of the seat mechanism using the designated screws.
Attach Armrests: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure they are firmly attached.
Connect Backrest to Seat: Attach the backrest to the seat cushion by aligning the metal brackets on the backrest with the corresponding holes on the seat. Secure with screws.
Place Assembled Top onto Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable.
Attach Lumbar and Headrest Pillows: Secure the lumbar support pillow and headrest pillow to the chair using their integrated straps. The lumbar pillow can be plugged into a USB power source for massage functionality.

5. Operating Instructions

The Dowinx Gaming Chair offers multiple adjustment options for optimal comfort and functionality.

5.1. Height Adjustment

To adjust the chair's height, locate the lever on the right side, beneath the seat. Pull the lever upwards while sitting on the chair to lower it, or pull the lever upwards while standing to raise it. Release the lever to lock the height.

5.2. Reclining Function

The chair features a 90°-165° reclining function. To recline, pull the lever on the left side of the seat upwards and lean back to your desired angle. Release the lever to lock the backrest in place.

5.3. Rocking Function

The chair has a 20° controllable rocking function. To enable rocking, pull the lever on the right side (same as height adjustment) outwards. Push the lever inwards to lock the rocking function. The tension of the rocking can be adjusted by turning the knob located underneath the seat, towards the front.

5.4. Retractable Footrest

To use the footrest, pull it out from underneath the seat. Push it back in when not in use. The footrest provides additional support for relaxation.

5.5. Massage Lumbar Pillow

The lumbar pillow includes a massage function. Connect the USB cable from the lumbar pillow to any standard USB power source (e.g., computer, power bank, USB wall adapter). The massage function will activate upon connection. There is no separate on/off button; unplug to stop the massage.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the PU leather.
Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
Caster Care: Keep the caster wheels free of debris (hair, dust, etc.) to ensure smooth rolling.
