Operating Instructions

Basic Looping Functions:

Record: Press the footswitch once to start recording. The REC LED will illuminate.
Play: Press the footswitch again to stop recording and start playback. The PLAY LED will illuminate.
Overdub: While a loop is playing, press the footswitch once to enter overdub mode. The DUB LED will illuminate. Press again to stop overdubbing and continue playback.
Stop: Double-press the footswitch to stop playback.
Clear: While the loop is stopped, press and hold the footswitch to clear the current loop.
Undo/Redo: Consult the full NUX Loop Core manual for specific undo/redo functionality, typically involving holding the footswitch or a combination of buttons.

Drum Patterns:

Activate/Deactivate: Press the RHYTHM button to turn drum patterns on or off.
Select Pattern: Use the PHRASE button and the main knob to cycle through the 40 available drum patterns.
Set Tempo: Press the TAP TEMPO button repeatedly (at least twice) to set the desired tempo. The pedal will synchronize the drum pattern to your tapped tempo.
Adjust Volume: Use the RHYTHM/LOOP knob to adjust the volume of the drum pattern relative to your loop.

Phrase Management (Save/Import):

Save Loop: After recording a loop, press the SAVE/DELETE button to save it to an available memory slot.
Import WAV Files: Connect the pedal to your computer via the USB port. The pedal will appear as a mass storage device. You can then drag and drop WAV audio files into the pedal's memory. Ensure WAV files match the pedal's specifications (e.g., sample rate, bit depth).
Backup Recordings: Similarly, you can copy recorded loops from the pedal to your computer for backup.

External Control:

The CTRL IN jack allows for connection of an external footswitch (e.g., NUX Cherub WTB-004). This can provide remote control over functions such as playback, Tap Tempo, memory switching, and clearing phrases, depending on the external footswitch model and configuration.
