4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for safe installation of your Eglo Pinto Oro Wall Lamp:
- Prepare for Installation:
- Turn off Power: Locate the circuit breaker for the installation area and turn off the main power supply. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging and inspect for any damage.
- Tools Required (not included): Screwdriver, drill, pencil, measuring tape, wire strippers, voltage tester.
- Mount the Bracket:
- Position the mounting bracket on the wall at the desired location. Use a pencil to mark the drilling points.
- Drill holes at the marked points. Insert appropriate wall plugs if necessary.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
- Connect Wiring:
- Carefully pull the electrical wires from the wall through the center hole of the mounting bracket.
- Connect the lamp's wires to the household electrical wires according to local electrical codes (typically: Live to Live, Neutral to Neutral, Ground to Ground). Ensure all connections are secure.
- Attach the Fixture:
- Align the lamp fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is firmly attached to the wall.
- Carefully place the transparent outer glass shade and the gold inner shade onto the fixture, securing them as per the design (usually with small screws or clips).

- Install the Light Bulb:
- Screw an E27 bulb (max 40W) into the lamp holder. Do not overtighten.
- Ensure the bulb is compatible with dimming if you intend to use a dimmer switch.

- Restore Power:
- Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, turn the main power supply back on at the circuit breaker.
5. Operating Instructions
The Eglo Pinto Oro Wall Lamp features an integrated rocker switch for convenient operation.
- To Turn On: Press the rocker switch to the 'ON' position.
- To Turn Off: Press the rocker switch to the 'OFF' position.
If a dimmable E27 bulb is installed and connected to a compatible dimmer switch (not included), you can adjust the light intensity using the dimmer control.
