2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing
Your renewed iPhone XS Max package typically includes:
- Apple iPhone XS Max (Renewed)
- Generic (Mfi certified) charger
- Charging cable
Please note that headphones or a SIM card are not included.
2.2 SIM Card Installation
Locate the SIM tray on the right side of the device. Use a SIM ejector tool (not included) to open the tray. Insert your 4FF nano-SIM card into the tray and reinsert it into the device. The IMEI is etched on the SIM tray.
2.3 Initial Activation
Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your iPhone. If you have an iPhone or iPad running iOS 11 or later, you can use Quick Start by bringing it nearby to sign in automatically. Otherwise, you can set up your iPhone manually.
