Important Safety Instructions

• Do not use without dust cup and/or filters in place.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

3. Attach Accessories: Store the crevice tool, dusting brush, and pet upholstery tool on the onboard accessory posts for easy access.

Operating Instructions

Powering On and Off

• Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Press the Power button located on the vacuum pod to turn the unit ON or OFF.

Floor Type Selection

The NV70 features a versatile floor selector to optimize cleaning for different surfaces:

• Hard Floor Setting: For bare floors and delicate rugs. The brush roll will not spin in this mode.
• Carpet Setting: For deep cleaning carpets. The brush roll will activate to agitate carpet fibers.

Swivel Steering

Maintenance

Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup after each use or when debris reaches the MAX FILL line.

1. Press the dust cup release latch and lift the dust cup off the vacuum pod.
2. Hold the dust cup over a trash bin and press the bottom release latch to open the bottom flap.
3. Close the flap and reattach the dust cup to the vacuum.

Cleaning Filters

Regularly clean the pre-motor and post-motor (HEPA) filters to maintain optimal suction power.

• Pre-Motor Filters (Foam & Felt): Rinse with water every 3 months or as needed. Allow to air dry completely before reinstalling.
• Post-Motor HEPA Filter: Rinse with water once a year or as needed. Allow to air dry completely before reinstalling.

Important: Do not operate the vacuum without all filters properly installed and completely dry.

Brush Roll Maintenance

Check the brush roll regularly for any hair, string, or debris that may be wrapped around it. Use scissors to carefully cut away any obstructions.
