Installation Steps

1. Prepare for Installation: Turn off power at the main circuit breaker. Ensure the power is off before proceeding.
2. Mounting Bracket Installation: Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws.
3. Wiring: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding house wires (black to black, white to white, ground to ground) using wire connectors. Secure connections with electrical tape.
4. Attach Fixture Base: Carefully push the fixture base onto the mounting bracket, aligning the screw holes. Secure the base with the decorative nuts or screws provided.
5. Install Glass Shade: The clear seeded glass shade attaches to the fixture base. Ensure it is securely fastened. Note: Some designs may require the outer decorative glass to be installed to the base plate before connecting to the ceiling.
6. Install Bulb: Screw in one E26/Medium Base 60W maximum bulb (not included) into the socket.
7. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. Test the light fixture.

Operating Instructions

This fixture requires one E26/Medium Base bulb with a maximum wattage of 60W. The light is controlled by a standard wall light switch. This fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmable bulb and a dimmer switch (both sold separately).

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the fixture, ensure the power is off. Wipe the metal parts with a soft, dry cloth. For the glass shade, use a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or glass.

Bulb Replacement

Before replacing the bulb, turn off the power to the fixture at the circuit breaker. Allow the bulb to cool completely. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new E26/Medium Base bulb, not exceeding 60W.

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Check if the power is on at the circuit breaker.
  • Ensure the bulb is screwed in tightly and is not burnt out.
  • Verify all wire connections are secure.
• Light flickers:
  • Ensure the bulb is fully tightened.
  • If using a dimmer, ensure the bulb is dimmable and compatible with the dimmer switch.
  • Check for loose wire connections.
• Glass shade is loose:
  • Carefully tighten the retaining ring or screws that secure the glass shade.
