4.2 Electrical Connection

5. Operating Instructions

The hob is controlled via a sensor-touch display. Ensure your fingers are clean and dry for optimal responsiveness.

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power symbol (O) to turn the hob on or off.

5.2 Adjusting Heat Levels

Each cooking zone has its own control. Use the slide touch control to select a power level from 1 to 9. The hob supports 1 to 16 adjustable power settings, which are mapped to the 9 display levels.

5.3 Timer Function

The integrated timer can be set from 1 to 99 minutes. Use the timer controls to set the desired cooking duration. The hob will automatically switch off the selected zone once the timer expires.

5.4 Child Lock

To activate the child lock, press and hold the child lock symbol (🔒) for a few seconds. This will disable the controls to prevent unintended operation. Repeat the process to deactivate.

5.5 Residual Heat Indicator

After a cooking zone is turned off, an 'H' will appear on the display if the surface is still hot. Do not touch the surface until the 'H' disappears.

5.6 Compatible Cookware

The hob is suitable for pots and pans made of iron, stainless steel, and alloy materials. Ensure the base of the cookware is flat and covers the cooking zone adequately for optimal heat transfer.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Spills: Clean up spills immediately, especially sugary liquids, to prevent them from burning onto the surface and causing permanent damage.
