- Ducted (Extraction) Mode: Air is extracted from the kitchen and expelled outside through a ducting system. This requires a connection to an external vent.
- Recirculation Mode: Air is filtered through an optional carbon filter (CBCF005, not included) to remove odors and then recirculated back into the kitchen. No external ducting is required for this mode.

4. Operating Instructions

5.1 Cleaning Grease Filters
The aluminum mesh grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain extraction efficiency.
- To remove the filter, locate the release latch and pull it down. The filter will detach.
- Clean the filters using warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before re-installing.
- To re-install, align the filter with the slots and push until it clicks into place.

5.2 Replacing Carbon Filters (Recirculation Mode Only)
