Note: A power supply is NOT included with this phone and must be purchased separately if Power over Ethernet (PoE) is not available.
Setup
1. Attaching the Desk Stand
Align the tabs on the desk stand with the slots on the back of the phone. Press firmly until the stand clicks into place. You can adjust the angle by selecting different slots.
2. Connecting Cables
Locate the ports on the back of the phone:
- Handset Port: Connect one end of the coiled handset cord to the handset and the other end to the handset port on the phone (marked with a handset icon).
- LAN Port: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone (marked with a network icon) and the other end to your network switch or router. If your network supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), the phone will power on automatically.
- PC Port: (Optional) Connect a second Ethernet cable from the PC port on the phone to your computer. This allows your computer to share the network connection through the phone.
- Power Port: If PoE is not available, connect an optional external power adapter (not included) to the power port.

3. Initial Boot-up
Once connected, the phone will power on and begin its boot-up sequence. This may take a few minutes as it obtains network settings and registers with your IP PBX system. The display will show progress messages.
Operating Instructions
Basic Call Functions
- Making a Call:
- Pick up the handset, press the Speakerphone button, or press a line key.
- Dial the number using the keypad.
- Press the "Dial" soft key or wait for the call to connect automatically.
- Answering a Call:
- Pick up the handset.
- Press the Speakerphone button.
- Press the "Answer" soft key.
- Ending a Call: Hang up the handset, press the Speakerphone button again, or press the "End Call" soft key.
- Placing a Call on Hold: During an active call, press the "Hold" soft key. To resume, press the "Resume" soft key or the flashing line key.
- Transferring a Call: During an active call, press the "Transfer" soft key. Dial the number to transfer to, then press "Transfer" again (for blind transfer) or wait for the party to answer and then press "Transfer" (for supervised transfer).
- Accessing Voicemail: Press the "Messages" button (envelope icon) and follow the audio prompts.
