1. Product Overview

3. Device Components

4. Setup

3. The app will scan for nearby Elitech data loggers. Select your LogEt 8 BLE from the list to pair.

4.4 Programming the Logger

Before starting a recording, configure the logger's parameters using the Elitech App or by connecting directly to a computer via USB:

• Via Elitech App: Within the app, navigate to the settings for your connected LogEt 8 BLE. You can set parameters such as sampling interval, alarm thresholds, start delay, and recording duration.
• Via USB (PC Software): Remove the protective cap to expose the USB port. Connect the logger to a computer. Use the Elitech data management software (downloadable from the Elitech website) to configure settings.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting a Recording

To begin data logging:

• Press and hold the START button for approximately 3 seconds until the "REC" indicator appears on the LCD screen.
• If a start delay was configured, the logger will begin recording after the specified delay.

5.2 Stopping a Recording

To end data logging:

• Press and hold the STOP button for approximately 3 seconds until the "END" indicator appears on the LCD screen.
• Alternatively, connect the logger to the Elitech App or PC software and select the option to stop recording.

5.3 Data Download and Report Generation

After recording, data can be retrieved and analyzed:

• Via USB: Remove the USB cap and plug the logger into a computer's USB port. The logger will automatically generate a PDF report and a CSV data file. These files can be accessed directly from the logger's virtual drive.
• Via Elitech App: Connect the logger to the Elitech App via Bluetooth. The app will automatically sync and upload all data to your account. You can then view graphs, export data, or generate reports directly from the app.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Battery Information

The LogEt 8 BLE is powered by a non-rechargeable lithium metal battery. The battery is designed to last for approximately 2 years under normal operating conditions. The battery is contained within the equipment and is not user-serviceable. Attempting to replace the battery may damage the device and void the warranty.

6.2 Cleaning

To clean the device:

• Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water.

6.3 Storage
