5.3 Installation Steps

  1. Disconnect Power: Ensure the main power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker.
  2. Remove Cover: Carefully remove the outer cover of the hand dryer to access the mounting holes and wiring compartment. Refer to the product diagram for screw locations.
  3. Mark Mounting Holes: Hold the dryer base against the wall at the desired height and use a pencil to mark the locations for the mounting screws. Use a level to ensure proper alignment.
  4. Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Insert appropriate wall anchors if necessary.
  5. Wiring:
    • Plug-in Installation: Route the attached 59-inch power cord to a suitable 120V outlet. Ensure the cord is not strained or pinched.
    • Hard-wired Installation: The power cord can be removed. Connect the building's electrical wiring (Live, Neutral, Ground) to the corresponding terminals inside the dryer's wiring compartment. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated. Consult local electrical codes.
  6. Mount Dryer: Secure the dryer base to the wall using the provided screws or appropriate fasteners. Ensure it is firmly attached.
  7. Reattach Cover: Replace the outer cover and secure it with its screws.
  8. Restore Power: Turn the main power supply back on at the circuit breaker.
