1. Product Overview

The AMOCAM L+70N-H Video Intercom System is a wired security solution designed for villas, houses, offices, and apartments. It features a 7-inch color monitor and an outdoor doorbell unit with an integrated HD camera, enabling two-way communication, monitoring, and remote unlocking.

3.1 Indoor Monitor

The indoor monitor features a 7-inch TFT LCD screen for clear viewing and intuitive buttons for various functions.

4. Installation Guide

The AMOCAM Video Intercom System is designed for surface mounting and DIY installation. Follow these steps for proper setup.

4.1 Wiring Diagram

Ensure all power is disconnected before beginning wiring. The system uses a 4-wire connection between the outdoor unit and the indoor monitor. Additional wiring is required for electric lock integration.

• Cable Type: For distances up to 30m (95 feet), use RVV4*0.30mm cable or CAT network cable. For 50m (150 feet), use RVV4*0.50mm cable. For 100m (320 feet), use RVV4*1.0mm cable.
• Power Supply: Connect the provided power supply to the indoor monitor.
• Electric Lock (Optional): If connecting an electric bolt lock, electric strike, or electric magnetic lock, an extra "Power Supply Control" unit is required to connect the lock.

4.2 Mounting

1. Choose a suitable location for both the indoor monitor and outdoor doorbell unit. The outdoor unit should be placed at a height that allows visitors to be clearly seen by the camera.
2. Mount the rain cover for the outdoor unit using the provided screws.
3. Secure the outdoor doorbell unit within the rain cover.
4. Mount the indoor monitor to a wall using the provided mounting bracket and screws.
5. Connect all necessary cables as per the wiring diagram (Figure 4.1).
6. Once all connections are secure, connect the power supply to an electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

This section details the primary functions of your AMOCAM Video Intercom System.

5.1 Receiving a Call

1. When a visitor presses the call button on the outdoor unit, the indoor monitor will ring and display the visitor's image.
2. To answer the call, press the Intercom button on the indoor monitor.
3. Engage in two-way communication with the visitor.
4. To end the call, press the Intercom button again or wait for the call to automatically disconnect after a set period.

5.2 Active Monitoring

You can view the outdoor area at any time without a visitor pressing the call button.

1. Press the Monitor button on the indoor monitor.
2. The screen will display a live feed from the outdoor camera.
3. To end monitoring, press the Monitor button again.

5.3 Unlocking the Door

If an electric lock is connected, you can unlock it directly from the indoor monitor.

1. During an active call or while monitoring, press the Unlock button on the indoor monitor.
2. The connected electric lock will disengage, allowing entry.

5.4 Adjusting Settings

Use the Ring Tone & Adjust button to access settings for brightness, color, volume, and ringtone selection.

• Press the button repeatedly to cycle through adjustable parameters.
• Use the up/down arrows (if available, or refer to specific model instructions) to modify values.
• The monitor supports 16 different doorbell tones.

6. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your intercom system.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor screen and outdoor unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Outdoor Unit: Periodically check the outdoor unit for any obstructions (dirt, spiderwebs) on the camera lens or microphone/speaker grilles. Clean gently if necessary.
• Cabling: Ensure all cables are securely connected and free from damage. Avoid bending or pinching cables.
• Environmental Protection: While the outdoor unit has a rain cover, avoid direct exposure to extreme weather conditions if possible.
