Setup

1. Charging the Vacuum

Before first use, fully charge the vacuum cleaner. The Lithium-Ion battery requires approximately 4-5 hours for a full charge.

  1. Locate the charging port on the vacuum cleaner.
  2. Connect the charging adapter to the vacuum's charging port.
  3. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate (refer to product for specific light behavior, typically red for charging, green for fully charged).
  5. Once fully charged, unplug the adapter from the outlet and then from the vacuum.

2. Attaching Accessories

The crevice tool can be attached to the nozzle for cleaning tight spaces.

  1. Align the crevice tool with the vacuum's suction nozzle.
  2. Push firmly until it clicks into place.
  3. For delicate surfaces or to prevent scratching, attach the rubber cap to the end of the crevice tool.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

To turn the vacuum on, slide the power switch to the 'ON' position. To turn it off, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.

2. Using the Vacuum

The Eureka NEH100 is designed for dry pick-up of dust and small debris on various indoor surfaces.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.

1. Emptying the Dust Cup

Empty the dust cup after each use or when debris reaches the 'MAX' fill line.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off.
  2. Press the dust cup release button (refer to your unit for exact location).
  3. Carefully remove the dust cup from the main body.
  4. Hold the dust cup over a trash receptacle and open the bottom flap to empty debris.
  5. Close the flap and reattach the dust cup to the vacuum until it clicks securely.

2. Cleaning the Filter and Cyclone

The filter and cyclone should be cleaned regularly, especially if suction power decreases.

  1. With the dust cup removed, carefully separate the filter and cyclone assembly.
  2. Tap the filter and cyclone over a trash can to remove loose dirt.
  3. Rinse the filter and cyclone under cool running water until the water runs clear.
  4. Allow all components to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling. Do not use the vacuum with wet filters.
  5. Once dry, reassemble the filter and cyclone into the dust cup, then reattach the dust cup to the vacuum.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your vacuum, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions.
