1. Introduction

3. Setup and Charging

3.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the headlamp. The battery is partially charged from the factory but a full charge ensures optimal performance.

3.2 Charging Instructions

  1. Locate the micro USB charging port on the side of the headlamp. It is protected by a rubber flap.
  2. Gently lift the rubber flap to expose the port.
  3. Connect the included micro USB cable to the headlamp's charging port.
  4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V DC adapter (not included), a computer USB port, a power bank, or a car charger.
  5. A red indicator light will illuminate during charging. The light will turn green or off when fully charged.
  6. Charging typically takes approximately 4 hours for a full charge.
  7. Once charging is complete, securely close the rubber flap to maintain the IPX4 waterproof rating.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The headlamp features two main buttons for operation: one for white light modes and one for red light modes.

  • White Light Button: Press once to cycle through High Brightness, Low Brightness, White Light Flash, and Off.
  • Red Light Button: Press once to cycle through Red Light Steady On, Red Light Flash, and Off.
  • To turn off the headlamp from any mode, cycle through the modes until it turns off, or press and hold the active mode button for a few seconds.

4.2 Adjusting the Beam Angle

The headlamp unit can be tilted up to 45 degrees to direct the light precisely where needed. Gently push or pull the light unit to adjust its angle.

4.3 Adjusting the Headband

The elastic headband is adjustable to fit various head sizes, suitable for both adults and children. Use the buckle on the strap to lengthen or shorten it for a secure and comfortable fit.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Headband Care: The elastic headband is removable and washable. Hand wash with mild soap and water, then air dry.
  • Storage: Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods.
  • Battery Life: To prolong battery life, charge the headlamp at least once every 3 months, even if not in regular use.
  • Waterproof Seal: Ensure the rubber flap covering the charging port is always securely closed when not charging to maintain its IPX4 water resistance.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Headlamp not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and check if the charging indicator light appears.
  • Light is dim: The battery may be low. Recharge the headlamp.
  • Charging indicator not working: Check the USB cable and power source connections. Try a different cable or adapter.
  • Headlamp not holding a charge: Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
  • Water ingress: Ensure the rubber flap over the charging port is always fully sealed when not charging. If water enters, allow the unit to dry completely before attempting to use or charge.
