Setup
- Battery Installation:
Locate the battery compartment on the JL3PR probe. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment securely.
- Job Link App Installation:
Download the Fieldpiece Job Link mobile app from your device's app store (iOS or Android). Install the app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Initial Pairing:
Power on the JL3PR probe by pressing the power button. Open the Job Link app on your mobile device. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the probe with your device via Bluetooth. The app will guide you through the connection process.

Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off:
Press and hold the power button on the probe to turn it on or off. The LED indicator will illuminate upon power-on.
- Connecting to a System:
Connect the angled 1/4" fitting of the JL3PR probe to the desired service port on the HVACR system. The angled design facilitates access in confined spaces.
- Identifying System Side:
Flip the switch on the probe to indicate whether it is connected to the red (high) or blue (low) side of the system. The Job Link app will automatically recognize the selection.
- Remote Data Logging:
Once connected and paired, the probe will send pressure measurements wirelessly to the Job Link app. You can view real-time data, log measurements, and analyze trends directly from your mobile device.
- Automatic Power Off (APO):
The JL3PR probe features an automatic power-off function to conserve battery life. If inactive for a set period, the probe will power down automatically. Refer to the Job Link app settings for APO configuration.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the probe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears in the Job Link app or on the probe (if applicable).
- Storage: Store the probe in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
