Operating Instructions
Ironing
- Temperature Selection: Turn the temperature dial to the desired fabric setting (e.g., Silk, Wool, Cotton, Linen). Allow the iron to heat up until the indicator light turns off, signaling it has reached the set temperature.
- Steam Ironing: For steam ironing, ensure the water tank is filled and the temperature is set to a steam-compatible setting (usually Cotton, Linen, or higher). The steam output can be adjusted using the steam control slider.
- Dry Ironing: For dry ironing, ensure the water tank is empty or the steam control is set to the 'Dry' position.
- Spray Mist: Press the spray mist button to lightly dampen stubborn wrinkles.
- Steam Burst: Press the steam burst button for an extra shot of steam to tackle tough creases. This feature is most effective at higher temperatures.
Vertical Steaming
The iron can be used as a vertical steamer for hanging garments, drapes, or upholstery.
- Fill the water tank.
- Set the temperature dial to the 'Max' or 'Linen' setting.
- Hold the iron upright, about 1 inch away from the fabric.
- Press the steam burst button repeatedly to release steam. Move the iron up and down over the wrinkled area.
