Setup
1. Battery Installation and Charging
The bait boat requires an internal rechargeable battery. The remote control typically uses AA batteries (not always included). Ensure both are fully charged or installed before use.
Boat Battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the boat, usually on the top or underside.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Connect the boat's rechargeable battery to the boat's power connector.
- Carefully place the battery inside the compartment and secure the cover, ensuring a watertight seal.
- To charge, connect the boat battery to the provided charger and plug it into a power source. Refer to the charger's indicator lights for charging status.

Figure 1: The battery compartment is designed to accommodate two battery sets for extended operation. Ensure the compartment is sealed after battery installation.
Remote Control Batteries:
- Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
- Insert the required number of AA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.
2. Remote Control Pairing
Typically, the boat and remote control are pre-paired. If pairing is required:
- Turn on the bait boat.
- Turn on the remote control.
- The remote control's indicator light should change from flashing to solid, indicating a successful connection. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section.
3. Loading Bait and Hook
The Flytec 2011-5 features two separate bait tanks and an external hook attachment point.
- Bait Tanks: Open the covers of the two bait tanks. Fill them with your desired bait (e.g., corn, pellets). Close the covers securely. The total bait capacity is approximately 1.5 kg.
- Hook Attachment: Attach your fishing line with a hook to the designated external hook attachment point on the boat. Ensure it is secure but can be released easily when the bait is dropped.

Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the remote control functions before operating the boat in water.
1. Basic Controls
- Forward/Backward: Use the left joystick (or designated throttle lever) to move the boat forward or backward.
- Turn Left/Right: Use the right joystick (or designated steering wheel) to steer the boat left or right.

2. Baiting Operation
The bait boat allows for remote release of bait.
- Navigate the boat to your desired baiting location.
- Press the designated bait release button on the remote control. This will open the bait tank(s) and release the bait. The boat features an upgraded black-plated spring reverse design for flexible silo bounce, ensuring all bait is delivered with a shaking action.

3. Hook Deployment
If using the external hook attachment, the hook is typically released simultaneously with the bait drop or by a separate mechanism depending on your setup. Ensure your fishing line is free to run when the hook is deployed.
4. Range and Signal
The boat operates on a 2.4G remote control frequency, providing a stable signal up to 500 meters in clear environments without interference. Multiple users can operate boats simultaneously without signal conflict.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your bait boat.
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the boat with a clean, damp cloth. Remove any weeds, debris, or bait residue from the hull, propellers, and bait tanks.
- Propeller Inspection: Periodically check the propellers for damage or entanglement. The boat features a 3-blade propeller with a dual motor system designed for stable driving force and yaw correction.
- Waterproofing: Regularly inspect all seals and covers for wear or damage to maintain the boat's waterproof integrity. The boat has upgraded waterproofing ability with multiple layers of protection, including waterproof rings, circuit board covers, and waterproof glue.

- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or completely discharge the batteries. If storing for extended periods, charge them to approximately 50% capacity.
- Storage: Store the boat in a dry, shaded area when not in use.
