Setup and Operation

1. Charging the Device

1. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the device's Micro USB port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (DC 5V) or a computer's USB port.
3. The LED indicator will show red during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes about 2 hours.
4. The device can be used while charging.

2. Transmitter (TX) Mode

In TX mode, the BTI-018 transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth device (e.g., TV, PC, MP3 player) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

1. Switch to TX Mode: Slide the TX/RX switch to the "TX" position.
2. Connect Audio Source: Use the 3.5mm audio cable or RCA cable to connect the BTI-018's 3.5mm Aux port to the audio output port of your non-Bluetooth device (e.g., TV headphone jack, PC audio out).
3. Power On: Press and hold the Multi-Function button for 3 seconds to power on the device. The LED will flash blue rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
4. Pair with Bluetooth Device: Put your Bluetooth headphones or speaker into pairing mode. Place them close to the BTI-018.
5. Connection: The BTI-018 will automatically search and connect to your Bluetooth device. Once connected, the LED will turn solid blue.
6. Dual Headphone Pairing (Optional): To connect a second pair of Bluetooth headphones, put the second headphones into pairing mode. Then, double-press the Multi-Function button on the BTI-018. The LED will flash blue rapidly again, and it will connect to the second device. Both devices will then receive audio simultaneously.

3. Receiver (RX) Mode

In RX mode, the BTI-018 receives Bluetooth audio from your smartphone or tablet and outputs it to wired speakers, car stereos, or wired headphones.

1. Switch to RX Mode: Slide the TX/RX switch to the "RX" position.
2. Connect Audio Output: Use the 3.5mm audio cable or RCA cable to connect the BTI-018's 3.5mm Aux port to the audio input port of your wired audio device (e.g., home stereo AUX-in, car stereo AUX-in, wired headphones).
3. Power On: Press and hold the Multi-Function button for 3 seconds to power on the device. The LED will flash blue rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
4. Pair with Smartphone/Tablet: On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices. Select "BTI-018" from the list of available devices.
5. Connection: Once connected, the LED will turn solid blue. You can now play audio from your smartphone/tablet through the connected wired audio device.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

No Sound / Poor Sound Quality:

• Ensure all audio cables are securely connected.

• Ensure the connected Bluetooth device (headphones/speaker) is powered on and paired correctly.

Cannot Pair with Bluetooth Device:

• Ensure the BTI-018 is in pairing mode (rapidly flashing blue LED).
• Make sure your Bluetooth device is also in pairing mode.
• Turn off and restart both the BTI-018 and your Bluetooth device.
• Clear previous pairing records on your Bluetooth device and try pairing again.
• Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are interfering with the pairing process.

Audio Delay (Lip-Sync Issue):

• Ensure both the BTI-018 and your connected Bluetooth headphones/speaker support aptX Low Latency. If only one device supports it, the low latency feature will not be active.
• Some devices may have slight delays even with aptX LL. Try restarting both devices.

Short Bluetooth Range:

• Bluetooth range can be affected by obstacles (walls, furniture) and interference from other wireless devices.
• Ensure there are no major obstructions between the BTI-018 and the connected Bluetooth device.
• Avoid placing the device near Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, or other strong signal sources.
