1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Anker PowerWave Pad. This Qi-certified wireless charging pad provides efficient and convenient charging for your compatible devices. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new wireless charger.

2. What's in the Box

Note: An AC adapter is not included. Please use a compatible adapter for optimal performance.

3. Setup

1. Connect the provided Micro USB cable to the PowerWave Pad.
2. Connect the other end of the Micro USB cable to a compatible AC adapter (not included).
3. Plug the AC adapter into a power outlet. The LED indicator on the PowerWave Pad will briefly illuminate solid blue for 3 seconds, then turn off, indicating it is connected to power and ready for use.

Power Adapter Requirements:

• For 10W Fast Charge (Samsung Galaxy): Use a Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 adapter (9V/2A).
• For 5W Standard Charge (iPhone): Use a 5V/2A adapter.
• Do not use an iPhone 5V/1A stock charger or a computer's USB port to power the PowerWave Pad, as this may result in slow or no charging.
• Not compatible with USB-C wall chargers.

4. Operating Instructions

1. Ensure the PowerWave Pad is properly connected to a power source.
2. Place your Qi-enabled device directly onto the center of the PowerWave Pad.
3. The LED indicator will turn solid blue, confirming that your device is charging.
4. To stop charging, simply remove your device from the pad.

Case Friendly Charging:

The PowerWave Pad can transmit charging power directly through protective cases up to 5 mm thick. This applies to rubber, plastic, or TPU cases only.

5. LED Indicator Guide

The LED indicator provides visual feedback on the charging status:

• Flashing Blue: Indicates there may be an object between your phone and the charging surface, or your phone needs to be restarted.
• Flashing Green: Suggests an incompatible adapter or cable is being used. Try a different adapter and cable.
• Solid Blue for 3 seconds, then off: The PowerWave Pad is connected to power and in standby mode.
• Solid Blue: Your device is actively charging.

The Anker PowerWave Pad is compatible with a wide range of Qi-enabled devices:

8. Maintenance

• Clean the PowerWave Pad with a soft, dry cloth.

9. Troubleshooting

• Device not charging or charging slowly:
  • Ensure your device is Qi-enabled and placed directly on the center of the charging pad.
  • Check that the power adapter meets the recommended specifications (9V/2A for 10W fast charge, 5V/2A for 5W standard charge).
  • Remove any thick cases (over 5mm), metal attachments, or magnetic objects from your device.
  • Try restarting your phone.
  • Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the pad and the adapter.
• LED indicator is flashing blue:
  • Check for any foreign objects between your phone and the charging surface.
  • Restart your phone.
• LED indicator is flashing green:
  • The adapter or cable may be incompatible. Try a different power adapter and cable.
