1. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before installing and using this product. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or property damage.

• Electrical Safety: Do NOT use an extension cord or multi-plug adaptor. Only use a grounded socket corresponding to the electrical rating of the attachment plug. It is recommended to use a socket that is resistant to humidity and capable of high-power loading. Regularly inspect the plug and socket for signs of damage.
• Installation Location: Set up on a level surface that can support the combined weight of the product when filled and all users. Ensure adequate drainage and that the location is within 12 ft. of a grounded, grounding-type receptacle. Outdoor setup is preferred. If choosing an indoor location, humidity could cause property damage without proper precaution; consult an expert to confirm proper ventilation.
• Water Temperature: The maximum recommended water temperature is 104°F (40°C).
• Children Safety: Always supervise children around the hot tub.
• Chemicals: Handle all spa chemicals according to manufacturer's instructions.

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for proper setup of your SaluSpa AirJet hot tub.

1. Choose a Location: Select a flat, level surface capable of supporting the weight of the filled hot tub and its occupants. Ensure it has adequate drainage and is within 12 feet of a grounded electrical outlet.
2. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
3. Inflate the Hot Tub: Connect the pump to the hot tub's inflation valve and inflate until firm. Do not overinflate.
4. Connect the Pump: Attach the pump unit to the hot tub following the instructions for water inlet and outlet connections.
5. Fill with Water: Fill the hot tub with water to the recommended fill line. The capacity is approximately 222 gallons (80% filled).
6. Install Filter Cartridge: Insert the filter cartridge into its housing within the hot tub.
7. Connect Power: Plug the hot tub into a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Once set up, operating your SaluSpa is straightforward using the digital control panel.

Control Panel Functions:

• Power Button: Turns the hot tub system on or off.
• Temperature Adjustment: Use the up/down arrows to set your desired water temperature (range typically 68°F to 104°F / 20°C to 40°C).
• AirJet Button: Activates or deactivates the bubbling massage system.
• Filter Button: Controls the water filtration system. It is recommended to run the filter daily.
• Heat Button: Turns the heating function on or off. The heater will automatically turn off once the set temperature is reached.
• Timer Button: Allows you to set a timer for the heating function.

Using the ChemConnect Dispenser:

The ChemConnect dispenser is designed to maintain proper water chemistry. Fill it with appropriate chemical tablets (e.g., chlorine or bromine) and place it in the hot tub. Adjust the dispenser's opening to control the release rate of chemicals according to your water testing results and chemical manufacturer's guidelines.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of your hot tub.

Filter Cartridge Cleaning and Replacement:

• The filter cartridge should be cleaned regularly (daily or every other day depending on usage) by rinsing it with a garden hose.
• Replace the filter cartridge every 1-2 weeks, or sooner if it remains dirty after cleaning. Always use genuine SaluSpa filter cartridges (Type VI).

Water Chemistry:

• Test the water regularly using spa test strips to ensure proper pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer levels.
• Adjust chemical levels as needed using appropriate spa chemicals.

Draining and Storage:

• For long-term storage or relocation, drain the hot tub completely.
• Clean and dry the hot tub thoroughly before deflating and storing it in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Ensure all components, especially the pump, are free of water to prevent freezing damage.
