Setup
Initial Charging
Your Eco-Drive watch is powered by light. Before initial use, or if the watch has stopped, expose it to bright light (natural or artificial) for several hours to ensure it is fully charged. A full charge can last up to 6 months in darkness.
Setting the Time and Date
Follow these steps to accurately set the time and date on your watch:
- Pull the crown out to position 2. Ensure the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position before pulling the crown to align it accurately.
- Rotate the crown to set the time. Move the minute hand ahead of the correct time by approximately 5 minutes, then turn it back to the exact minute. This minimizes gear play for more accurate hand movement. Observe the 24-hour hand (located at the 9 o'clock sub-dial) to determine if the time is AM or PM.
- Press the crown back into its normal position. Ensure the crown is securely pushed in to maintain water resistance.

Using the Chronograph Function
The chronograph measures elapsed time up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments.
- Start: Press the upper pusher (A) to start the chronograph. The large second hand will begin moving.
- Stop: Press pusher (A) again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the large second hand and the chronograph minute sub-dial.

Maintenance
Cleaning Your Watch
Wipe your watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 BAR). It is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for scuba diving. Ensure the crown is always pushed in completely to maintain water resistance. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
Eco-Drive Charging Tips
To maintain optimal performance, expose your watch to light regularly. Avoid storing it in dark places for extended periods. If the watch stops, expose it to bright light until it resumes normal operation.
Troubleshooting
Watch Not Running
- Cause: Insufficient charge.
- Solution: Expose the watch to bright light for several hours. The second hand may move in two-second intervals as a low charge indicator. Continue charging until it moves normally.
Incorrect Time/Date
- Cause: Time or date was not set correctly, or the crown was not fully pushed in.
- Solution: Refer to the "Setting the Time and Date" section and re-adjust. Ensure the crown is securely pushed into its normal position.
