Introduction

The EGLO Wymer Multi 4-Light Pendant features a matte bronze finish and exposed bulbs, designed to complement various decor styles from rustic to contemporary. It is intended for indoor use only.

Safety Information

• Always turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker before installing, servicing, or cleaning the fixture.
• Consult a qualified electrician if you are not familiar with electrical installations.
• Use only bulbs of the specified wattage and type (60 watts, A19 type). Exceeding the maximum wattage may cause overheating.
• Do not connect this fixture to an ungrounded electrical system.
• Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your pendant light. It is recommended to have two people for installation.

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture's location and turn off the power. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting: Remove the existing fixture (if any) and its mounting bracket. Attach the new mounting plate to the electrical junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
3. Adjust Height (if applicable): The pendant features an adjustable chain. Determine the desired hanging height and adjust the chain length by removing links as needed.
4. Wire Connections:
   • Connect the fixture's ground wire (bare copper or green) to the ground wire from the junction box (bare copper or green) using a wire nut.
   • Connect the fixture's white wire (neutral) to the white wire from the junction box (neutral) using a wire nut.
   • Connect the fixture's black wire (hot) to the black wire from the junction box (hot) using a wire nut.
   • Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
5. Mount Fixture: Carefully lift the fixture and attach the canopy to the mounting plate, securing it with the decorative nuts or screws provided.
6. Install Bulbs: Screw in four A19 type bulbs (max 60 watts each) into the sockets.
7. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions

The EGLO Wymer Multi 4-Light Pendant operates like a standard light fixture. Once installed and wired correctly:

• Turning On/Off: Use the wall switch connected to the fixture to turn the light on or off.
• Dimming (Optional): If connected to a compatible dimmer switch and using dimmable bulbs, you can adjust the light intensity. Refer to your dimmer switch's instructions for specific operation.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your pendant light.

• Cleaning:
  • Always turn off the power and allow the fixture to cool before cleaning.
  • Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
• Bulb Replacement:
  • Turn off the power at the circuit breaker and allow bulbs to cool completely.
  • Carefully unscrew the old bulb.
  • Screw in a new A19 type bulb, ensuring it does not exceed 60 watts.
  • Restore power.
