3. Setup Instructions
3.1. Identifying the Primary Camera
Before attaching any lens, identify the primary camera on your smartphone. This is typically the main lens used for standard photos. Cover each camera lens with your finger while in camera mode to see which one shows a black screen. This indicates the active primary camera.
For multi-camera phones, ensure the lens clip is aligned with the primary camera. Installation over ultra-wide, telephoto, or front-facing cameras may cause dark edges, blurring, or render the lens unusable.

3.2. Telephoto Lens Installation
It is recommended to remove your phone case before installation for optimal alignment.
- Adjust the slide of the telephoto lens clip to align with the main lens of your mobile phone.
- Remove the fixed screw of the clip.
- Install the telephoto lens onto the clip.
- Align the telephoto lens on the main lens of your mobile phone.
- Install the tripod onto the clip for stability.

3.3. Macro/Wide-Angle/Fisheye Lens Installation
The wide-angle and macro lenses are screwed together upon arrival. To use the wide-angle lens, attach both lenses to the clip. To use only the macro lens, unscrew the wide-angle lens from the macro lens.
- First, remove the phone case.
- Adjust the clip's slide plate, and then install the mini lens clip to the main lens of your phone.
- Install the desired lens (macro, wide-angle, or fisheye) on the clip.
- If the image is blurry, focus manually on your phone.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Using the 18X Telephoto Lens
The 18X telephoto lens magnifies distant subjects. After installing the lens, adjust the focal length by rotating the focusing ring on the lens itself. Do not adjust the focus through the phone's digital zoom, as this may switch the phone's main camera or degrade image quality. The included eyecup allows the telephoto lens to be used as a monocular.

4.2. Using the 15X Macro Lens
The 15X macro lens is designed for capturing extreme close-ups of small objects like flowers, insects, or textures. The optimum working distance between the macro lens and the observed object is 0.79–1.57 inches (2–4 cm). Ensure the wide-angle lens is unscrewed from the macro lens before use.

4.3. Using the 0.63X Wide-Angle Lens
The 0.63X wide-angle lens allows you to capture a broader field of view, ideal for landscapes, group photos, or architectural shots, with minimal distortion. This lens must be used in combination with the macro lens (they arrive screwed together). Do not attempt to use the wide-angle lens alone.

4.4. Using the 198° Fisheye Lens
The 198° fisheye lens creates a unique, spherical, and distorted image, adding a creative effect to your photos. It's suitable for artistic shots or capturing a very wide, curved perspective.

5. Compatibility
The APEXEL 4-in-1 Phone Photography Lens Kit is compatible with most smartphones, including all iPhone models (17/16/15/14/13/12 Pro series), Samsung devices, and Google Pixel phones. The lens screw ring on the clip is slidable, allowing you to position it over the main camera of phones with multiple lenses.
Note: This lens kit is not available for iPhone Air. If the clip does not fit your device, contact APEXEL for a compatible replacement clip.

6. Maintenance
To ensure optimal image quality and prolong the life of your lenses, keep them clean. Use the provided soft cleaning cloth to gently wipe away dust, fingerprints, or smudges from the lens surfaces. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, which can damage the lens coatings. Store the lenses in the zipped case when not in use to protect them from dust and scratches.
7. Troubleshooting
- Dark Edges or Vignetting: Ensure the lens is perfectly centered over your phone's primary camera. Remove any phone cases that might obstruct the lens.
- Blurry Images: For the telephoto lens, adjust the focus by rotating the lens's focusing ring, not by using your phone's digital zoom. For macro lenses, ensure you are within the optimal working distance (0.79–1.57 inches). For all lenses, ensure the lens surface and your phone's camera lens are clean.
- Automatic Camera Switching (iPhone): If your iPhone automatically switches to another camera, update your system to iOS 15.2 or higher. Go to Settings > Camera, and turn on "Macro Control." Then, return to camera mode and turn off the flower icon. To activate macro mode, hold your finger or another object close to the lens before attaching it.
