3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Amplifier

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the side of the amplifier.
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the amplifier and to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The power indicator lights will illuminate to show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours and provides up to 5 hours of continuous use.

3.2 Connecting to Your Instrument

  1. Ensure the amplifier is powered off before connecting.
  2. Plug the 1/4-inch jack of the amplifier directly into the output jack of your bass guitar.

3.3 Connecting Headphones

  1. Plug your headphones into the 'PHONES' jack on the amplifier.
  2. If you wish to share the audio or use two sets of headphones, use the provided 1/4" (3.5mm) headphones splitter.

3.4 Connecting External Audio (AUX Input)

  1. To play along with backing tracks or music, connect an external audio source (e.g., smartphone, media player) to the 'AUX' input jack using the provided AUX audio cable.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on the amplifier, slide the 'POWER' switch to the 'ON' position. The power indicator lights will illuminate.
  • To power off, slide the 'POWER' switch to the 'OFF' position.

4.2 Controls

The Donner Basement amplifier features three main control knobs and an FX switch:

  • VOLUME: Adjusts the overall output volume to your headphones.
  • TONE: Modifies the tonal characteristics, from darker to brighter sounds.
  • DRIVE: Controls the amount of gain and distortion. Turn clockwise for more aggressive tones.
  • FX Switch (WAH): Toggles the built-in WAH effect on or off.

4.3 Battery Level Indicator

5. Maintenance
