Operating Instructions
The Veggie Bullet offers three distinct functions: slicing, shredding, and spiralizing. Always ensure food items are properly prepared and fit into the feed chute.
General Operation
- Plug the unit into a standard electrical outlet.
- Prepare your ingredients by washing and peeling as necessary. Cut larger items to fit the feed chute.
- Place a bowl or container under the Shooter to collect processed food.
- Turn the unit ON using the power switch.
- Gently feed ingredients into the chute using the Outer or Inner Pusher. Do not force food.
- The Veggie Bullet features 3 speeds for different food types and desired results. Adjust as needed.
- After processing, turn the unit OFF and unplug it before disassembling or cleaning.
Slicing Function
Use the Slicer/Shredder Blade in the slicing orientation for uniform slices of vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, or potatoes.

Shredding Function
Flip the Slicer/Shredder Blade to the shredding orientation for finely shredded ingredients such as cabbage, cheese, or cauliflower for 'rice'.

Spiralizing Function
Attach the Spiralizer components and use the Spiralizer Blade to create long, continuous vegetable noodles from items like zucchini, sweet potatoes, or cucumbers.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Veggie Bullet.
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- All removable parts (lids, pushers, blades, shooter, baskets, base plate) are dishwasher safe. Place them on the top rack of your dishwasher.
- For manual cleaning, wash removable parts in warm, soapy water. Use a brush for hard-to-reach areas and exercise caution when handling sharp blades.
- Wipe the High-Torque Power Base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the power base in water.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Veggie Bullet, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on. | Not plugged in; safety lock not engaged; power outage. | Ensure unit is securely plugged in. Check that all parts are correctly assembled and locked. Verify power supply. |
| Food gets stuck or does not process efficiently. | Overfilling; food too soft or too hard; collecting bowl is full. | Do not overfill the feed chute. Use appropriate food types for each function (e.g., soft tomatoes are not ideal for shredding). Empty the collecting bowl frequently. Ensure cauliflower is dry before shredding to prevent sticking. |
| Blades are not cutting properly. | Incorrect blade orientation; dull blade; food not suitable. | Verify the blade is installed correctly for slicing or shredding. Ensure food is firm enough for processing. If blades are dull, contact customer support for replacement options. |
