Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the Awei Y220 speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.

• A charging indicator light will typically illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
• Charging current: 300mA.
• Power input: DC-500mAh.

2. Powering On/Off

Locate the power button on the speaker. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to turn the speaker on or off. An audible prompt or indicator light will confirm the status change.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect the speaker to your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.):

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode. A blinking LED light usually indicates pairing mode.
2. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
3. Search for available devices. The speaker will appear as "Awei Y220" or similar.
4. Select "Awei Y220" to connect. Once connected, the speaker will provide an audible confirmation, and the LED indicator will become solid.
5. The speaker supports Bluetooth V4.2 for stable connection up to 10 meters (33 feet).

Operating Instructions

Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button (often the power button or a dedicated play/pause button) once to play or pause music.
• Volume Control: Use the volume buttons on the speaker (if available) or control the volume directly from your connected device.
• Next/Previous Track: Some speakers have dedicated buttons for skipping tracks. Refer to the speaker's physical buttons for this functionality.

Hands-Free Calling

Maintenance

• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Water Resistance: The Awei Y220 is waterproof. However, avoid submerging it in water for extended periods or exposing it to high-pressure water jets. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when near water.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use for long periods.
