Controls and Indicators

The Tribit XSound Go features intuitive controls located on the top panel of the speaker:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to power on or off.
  • Bluetooth Button: Press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
  • Volume Up (+): Increases the volume.
  • Volume Down (-): Decreases the volume.
  • Multi-function Button (Play/Pause/Call): Controls music playback, answers/ends calls, and activates voice assistant.
  • LED Indicator: Displays power, charging, and Bluetooth status.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your Tribit XSound Go speaker. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will light up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on. The LED indicator will flash blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Tribit XSound Go" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue. You will hear an audible confirmation.

4.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

You can pair two Tribit XSound Go speakers together for a true wireless stereo experience. Please note that older versions of the XSound Go may not be compatible with the new version for TWS functionality.

  1. Ensure both XSound Go speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until you hear a tone, indicating TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the LED indicators on both speakers will turn solid blue.
  4. Now, connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Playing Audio

  • Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function button once.
  • Next Track: Double-press the Multi-function button.
  • Previous Track: Triple-press the Multi-function button.
  • Volume Up: Press the '+' button.
  • Volume Down: Press the '-' button.

5.2 Call Functions

When connected to your smartphone, you can manage calls directly from the speaker:

  • Answer/End Call: Press the Multi-function button once.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds.

5.3 Voice Assistant

To activate your device's voice assistant (Siri, Google Now), press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds.

5.4 Using the Tribit App

Enhance your listening experience by tailoring the sound with the Tribit App. The app allows for customized EQ modes and other settings. Please ensure you have the updated version of the XSound Go speaker, as older versions cannot connect to the Tribit App.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Waterproofing Care (IPX7)

The Tribit XSound Go is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. To maintain its waterproof integrity:

  • Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
  • Do not expose the speaker to salt water or other chemicals, as this may damage the seals.
  • After exposure to water, especially chlorinated or salty water, rinse the speaker with fresh water and dry thoroughly before charging or using.

6.2 Cleaning

To clean your speaker, use a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

6.3 Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every three months to preserve battery life.
