Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your floor lamp:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Assemble Lamp Pole: Screw the lamp pole sections together clockwise until secure. Ensure all connections are tight.
3. Attach Lamp Pole to Base: Thread the bottom section of the assembled lamp pole into the lamp base. Turn clockwise until firmly attached.
4. Install Lamp Head: If the lamp head is separate, carefully attach it to the top of the lamp pole. Ensure the electrical wire passes freely through the pole.
5. Install Glass Shade:
   • Unscrew the shade ring from the lamp socket.
   • Place the alabaster glass shade over the socket.
   • Screw the shade ring back onto the socket to secure the glass shade. Do not overtighten.

6. Insert Bulb: Screw one E26/medium base A21 bulb (150-watt maximum, sold separately) into the lamp socket.
7. Position Lamp: Place the lamp in your desired location, ensuring the cord is not pinched or a tripping hazard.

Operating Instructions

Your Gatineau Floor Lamp features a rotary switch for easy control.

1. Connect to Power: Plug the lamp's power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet.
2. Turn On/Off and Adjust Brightness: Locate the rotary switch on the lamp socket.
   • Turn the switch clockwise to cycle through low, medium, and high light levels.
   • Continue turning to switch the lamp off.

  • Unscrew the old bulb counter-clockwise.
